Mandatory standard mark

Shahrokhi Technical Institute is the first and only company that has received the mandatory standard mark for air diffusers in Iran.

It was a difficult path which has started many years ago at the request of this institution from the National Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran to obtain this mark. In 2001, the National Standard Institute invited this institute to officially be part of the committee to develop the local standard for diffusers and air terminals since the local standard for the calibration and air terminals’ test had not been developed in the country. This standard was finally compiled in 2005 after numerous meetings and the continuous presence of this institute’s experts in the standard committee meetings for 2 years. Additionally, extensive actions were taken to build a equipped test room for diffusers in this institute’s factory and the first calibration laboratory was established in 2006 with the cooperation of Amirkabir University.

At that time the test room was in this institute’s factory located in Saeed Abad Jajrud industrial town, allocated space of which was not appropriate to test the throw length due to the lack of length. Therefore, by moving to a new production space in Abbas Abad industrial town and assigning 300 square meters to the test laboratory after one year, the Aerodynamics Laboratory of Shahrokhi Technical Institute was officially established in 2007 and in 2008 it was approved by the Standards and Research Department. Moreover, the technical institute tried with continuous efforts to obtain the national mark for the quality standard of air diffusers, finally on 03/06/2012, it succeeded in receiving the license for the use of the national mark of the mandatory standard of air diffusers for the first time in Iran.
