One of the most prominent features of the specialized and engineering activities of Shahrokhi Technical Institute over many years is the design of products and items that were designed and produced for the first time in the country. Localization and reverse engineering of these items has repeatedly caused the basket of products needed in the country’s facilities industry to become smaller and smaller to non-Iranian products.
One of the most obvious examples of this importance is the production of anti-fire damper fuse by Shahrokhi Technical Institute in 1370. Of course, it is worth noting that before 1370 in Iran, no standard fuse was made for this product, and the performance of Iranian fire dampers did not include any standard or special guarantee that they would work at the right temperature (72 degrees Celsius) and prevent the transmission of fire.
It should be mentioned that this product is so prominent in the field of tools and control and air guidance that wherever there is talk of ventilation and air guidance, the existence of this product is inevitable. For this reason, it is inevitable to use fire dampers with international and valid certificates in all national projects in the field of oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, hospital, industrial, nuclear, commercial, administrative and welfare towers, etc.
For example, in 2014, in the construction of the big project of the Iranian market (Iran Mall), the supply of fire dampers that have UL international standards was considered by the senior managers and experts overseeing this huge national project, and unfortunately, there is no manufacturing company in Iran due to sanctions and production restrictions. It did not have this standard. But Shahrokhi Technical Institute, with indescribable effort and effort, was able to record another honor in its record by producing this flagship product according to UL international standard.
