In order to minimizing the noise made by the system’s equipment and also serve as a wall, acoustic louvers (also known as acoustic fresh air louvers) are constructed as a component of the building’s intake and exhaust air system. Acoustic louvers help solve environmental noise issues in both commercial and residential structures by reducing noise pollution brought on by cooling vents, boiler rooms, and air conditioning systems.
Acoustic louvers should be chosen by experts, mechanical engineers, or acoustic consultants, similar to Sound attenuators. Environmental considerations, such as the entrance of rain and snow, resistance to weather conditions, and the entry of living creatures, must also be taken into account in the design in addition to technical considerations like flow rate and pressure drop.
- Ability to absorb high sound waves, especially at high frequencies.
- Lack of visibility into the channel due to the shape of the blade.
- High strength due to the special shape of the blades and the high thickness of the used sheet.
- Easy installation.
- It has a net behind the hatch to prevent birds and small animals from entering the building.
- Can be installed on the wall, door, or window of the building or doors with great depth.
Attributes
- It is not possible to angle the blades because the blades are fixed.
